He coordinated the sports science provision across the mens and womens programme that was agreed with the English Institute of Sport. Through regular communication and evaluation it ensured delivery was optimal and efficient through the preparation and competition phases. This resulted in both teams reaching the semi finals and the women achieving a bronze medal, the first Olympic medal for 20 years.
